Marketing Assistant

We are working once again with our growing charity client to help them find a Fundraising and Marketing Assistant. This is a hands-on role within a busy team, with amazing potential to develop skills and grow within the role.

A Fundraising and Marketing Assistant will provide administrative support to the whole Fundraising and Marketing team, including:

• Processing donations and sending thanks to the supporters
• Maintaining a CRM database – this client uses Raisers Edge
• Assisting with the successful delivery of fundraising events
• Providing the highest levels of customer service to individuals and corporate givers
• Creating new opportunities for fundraising, from events to social media campaigns
• Tracking stock of fundraising merchandise and ordering more when required
• Create, edit and schedule social media and website content

You could be an amazing Fundraising and Marketing Assistant if you have:

• Outstanding organisational skills with attention to detail
• Creative ideas and the ability to work on your own initiative
• Determination to succeed and find solutions to any problems  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, face to face, over the telephone and by email

It’s not essential that you have experience within the charity sector, but some understanding of it would be helpful – perhaps you’ve taken on a fundraising challenge yourself, or volunteered to a charity? This is a 35 hour week, full time role, based at our client’s head office in Stonehouse, paying a salary in the region of £(phone number removed)pa, plus benefits. As there is event work involved, some evening and weekend work may be required at events (which are always fun!) and TOIL will be given.
