Job description

About the Role:
Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing Service
Marketing Department
**
Marketing Automation & CRM Officer
Ref: SC4623
Starting salary from £28,929 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £35,308 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Automation & CRM Officer to join the UEA’s busy Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing Division.
You will be responsible for supporting the planning, development and execution of UEA’s CRM roadmap. Working within the Marketing team at UEA, you’ll also be working closely with our Data & Systems team, stakeholders across UEA as well as agency partners. You will be an advocate for CRM-led marketing, helping us on our journey as we move to a more personalised and dynamic approach in our communications – using the power of data, insight and CRM tools to create a world-class student journey.
You will work closely with colleagues to develop and integrate data-driven, multi-channel automated communications into the wider strategic plans. You will consult and help translate business needs and processes to our CRM platform Salesforce, bridging the gap between the creative and the technical. You will help to build complex communication journeys and automations, providing ongoing technical support as well as identifying and implementing software changes to support future developments. You will therefore need to think and act both proactively and reactively.
You will be a self-driven Marketing Automation expert, with technical experience. You’ll have a desire to innovate and challenge convention with a good understanding and track record of implementing CRM tools and new technologies. You will be data literate, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is easily understandable to non-technical stakeholders. This includes being able to present data in a clear and concise manner, as well as being able to explain the implications in a way that is meaningful to the audience.
You will have the unique and exciting opportunity to take UEA's data and CRM to the next level through driving personalisation, uses of artificial intelligence, automation and analytics. The CRM functionality, campaigns and tests you will work on will help the UEA’s marketing to become best in the higher education sector and continue to attract high quality students.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.

Benefits include:

  • 39 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays and University Customary days.
  • Family and Work-life balance policies including hybrid working and considerable maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and adoption leave.
  • Generous pension scheme with life cover for dependants, plus incapacity cover.
  • Health and Wellbeing: discounted access to Sportspark facilities, relaxation rooms, 320 acres of rolling parkland, wellbeing walks, Wellbeing Ambassador network, medical centre, Occupational Health and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Campus Facilities: Sportspark, library, nursery, supermarket, post office, bars and catering outlets.
  • Exclusive shoppingdiscounts to help cut the cost of household bills, childcare salary sacrifice scheme, Cycle to Work scheme and public transport discounts.
  • Personal Development: unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning courses, specialist advice and training from our Organisational Development and Professional Learning Team.

Closing date: 15 April 2024
The University holds an Athena Swan Silver Institutional Award in recognition of our advancement towards gender equality.
