We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, confident communicator with some experience in a marketing function (or perhaps a recent graduate with a marketing related degree and some work experience), to join the Business Development & Marketing team of a leading City law firm as a Marketing and BD Assistant.

The Marketing & BD Assistantwill support the BD team, allocated to specific practice areas, with their plans to grow fees from existing clients and develop new client relationships, therefore this role will focus on key BD activities which include events, marketing communications, client development and digital marketing.

In a nutshell: We’re looking for someone with some experience in marketing activities and skilled in communications with a proactive nature and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Key responsibilities as the Marketing & Business Development Assistant will include:

• Events support
• Assisting with marketing communications
• Research and analysis
• Maintaining the CRM
• Creating reports and collating data
• Digital marketing including proofing reading content and uploading posts

What we’re looking for:

• Good academics - a degree / marketing qualification is highly beneficial
• Previous experience working in a marketing function, ideally in a professional services environment
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels effectively
• Impeccable organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to manage several tasks/projects at any one time
• IT literate including MS Office (essential) and database management; Ms Publisher, InDesign and email campaign software experience is beneficial
• Professional, proactive, creative and enthusiastic team player
• Flexibility to work additional or out of office hours when needed (I.e. events)
