Marketing Communications Manager - Legal

You will join a top-ranked global law firm with 40+ offices across the world. They're a full-service commercial firm that operates across a range of practice areas with a broad client base in key industries - advising them on some of the most important & crucial issues of the day.

Their dedicated Marketing Communications team is part of a well-regarded, professional Marketing & BD function that is a key pillar of the firm's success & you'll be sitting in a global team that operates across the firm.

Your new role

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for both the firm's brand positioning efforts & contributing to BD objectives at a global, regional, & practice/industry specific level. You will be responsible for developing effective campaign strategies & implementing various Marketing Communications initiatives across the firm, ranging from ads to thought leadership, to achieve this. You will also use market insights, research, & performance analysis to inform on & improve both strategic direction & campaign development.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in London with hybrid working (3/2 split). You will report to the Marketing Communications Director & work with a range of key stakeholders across the firm.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll need to demonstrate expertise & success across the key areas of the role including:

• Using data & insights to create compelling & effective strategies at multiple levels
• Delivering on building brand awareness
• Executing Marcomms activity across a broad range of channels
• Post-campaign reporting & analysis
• Supporting BD teams & fee-earners

In addition:

• Experience within a legal or professional services is essential & can demonstrate effectively working in a Partnership environment
• Experience working within a large, global organisation would be advantageous, as would experience sitting with a central team that supports multiple teams
• Strong relationship management skills & excellent written & verbal communication
• Effective project manager, used to managing multiple campaigns/projects at different stages across different audiences
