About the role
Working with the Head of Communications, the Marketing and Communications Officer will support the delivery of our communications strategy across multiple channels, including traditional print and digital media.
You will act as a brand guardian for Emerging Futures, ensuring that we are committed to a consistent tone of voice and visual identity, promoting the core messages and values of the organisation.
The role will lead on the organisation's social media channels, finding new and exciting ways to share the impact that our services have on those who use them. You will encourage and grow online communities, engaging with service users, staff, stakeholders, partners and commissioners to increase the awareness and reputation of EF.
Working with our teams across the country, you will coordinate the production and distribution of print marketing collateral for our services.
Actively seeking development opportunities to promote the company, you will contribute to the wider marketing and communications strategy as part of a growing team.
We are open to making the role work for the right candidate, so while Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm is fine by us, we are also open to part-time candidates, flexible working patterns and compressed hours to accommodate parents, carers and those with additional needs. About you
· You are a creative storyteller, who feels at home writing copy and can turn ideas into content that catches audience attention with a clear message.
· A team player, you thrive when collaborating with others, and are happy to pitch in with ideas.
· You will have previous experience working in a marketing and communications environment, ideally within a non-profit organisation, and can prioritise competing demands and a busy workload.
· Above all, you believe that those affected by addiction and homelessness have a huge amount of potential, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to rebuild their lives and reclaim their place in society.
