You will be working 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week. Office opening hours are 8:00am – 6:00pm and there can be flexibility of your working hours within this e.g. 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
This role would suit someone looking for a lively and upbeat working environment, who enjoys working in a fast paced role.
You will be based on-site and can choose your base location as either Weston-super-Mare, Yeovil or Taunton. Frequent travel between sites is required, for which a business car will be provided for the day.
A temporary basis of work would also be considered if you have the right skills but are only available for a short term assignment.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To work with the team to ensure appropriate marketing plans/actions are developed and executed which ensure:
- A significant part of the role will be assisting in delivering marketing campaigns, liaising with marketing agencies and individual Managers to enable the delivery of campaigns across all types of media channels.
- This role will be essential in assisting the Group Marketing Department to maintain the quality and efficiency of campaign delivery due to the ever increasing volume of marketing activities required across sales, service and manufacturer brands.
- To assist in the administration of the Group website, ensuring offers are up to date, compliance issues are identified and resolved, information is accurate, and opportunities maximised.
- To assist the Group Marketing and Business Development Centre Manager and Group Marketing Director where necessary in the delivery of Group campaigns within given timeframes and budget.
- To undertake audits and reviews of the Group and local social media platforms to identify areas to improve content, increase organic likes and encourage engagement whilst ensuring compliance is met at all times.
Essential Skills/Qualifications
- A confidence in working with systems. Knowledge of IT and use of software packages.
- A tolerance for detail and determination for accuracy in such work.
- A desire to work as part of a direct and extended team with the ability to occasionally liaise with senior managers.
- A flexible attitude to work and a willingness to take on new challenges even if these might be seen as beyond the direct remit of the position.
- A ‘can-do’ attitude that likes to achieve beyond expectation.
- Strong communication skills whether in writing, over the phone or face-to-face.
- A level of resilience that will cater for busy periods without allowing standards of quality or attention to detail to decline.
- Ability for extreme attention to detail to ensure accuracy and delivery of marketing materials.
- Knowledge of social media platforms.
- A full and valid driving licence
