We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional who is looking for a challenging and exciting role. Based in the Creative and CultureMarketing Team, you will be responsible for the effective planning and delivery of a range of business as usual and project specific marketing activity.
Creative and Culture team: As part of the delivery of the Road to 2030 and positioning Manchester Met as a leader in creative excellence, this team is responsible for the marketing of the university's Creative and cultural portfolio with a particular focus on engaging with stakeholders for partnership and research purposes.
About the role
In this role you will:
- Support in the marketing of the university's cultural assets, such as theatre, to build strong audience both internally and externally to the university.
- Support in the development of rich content to support the creative excellence strategy.
- Work closely with the Marketing Officer, support with the management of a diverse portfolio of marketing activity
- Work collegiately with a range of colleagues across the university to ensure the Creative and cultural strategy is maximised.
About you
You will be an outward looking, forward-thinking marketing professional.
With a creative background, you will have great all-round marketing skills including: audience development, digital marketing, content development, campaign management, social media management, CRM, publication production, copywriting, commissioning design, project management and managing events, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to track, report and evaluate campaign results.
Experience of working within a cultural institution is also highly desirable for this role.
