Marketing Executive – Food To Foodservice

THE COMPANY:

We are a leading independent Northern Foodservice wholesaler – with an established reputation for quality products and excellent service.

We provide a comprehensive range of food products to the hospitality sector with a strong focus on breakfast and lunchtime goods.
This means that we are particularly effective in servicing cafes, delis and schools, amongst a host of other types of accounts.

Due to our strong levels of service combined with competitive pricing we have a loyal customer base, a high volume of which have traded with us for many years.

We are seeking to add an experienced Foodservice sales professional to our team – to support with further growing and retaining business with our customers.

THE ROLE:

This is an exciting and diverse new role – with the responsibility of heading up our marketing function with a key focus on driving Digital marketing and driving online sales.

You will be responsible for initiating and implementing our Digital marketing and online strategy including ideas for promotions, driving online ordering, our website and social media activity.

There will also be involvement with all other marketing areas including offline.

We are also looking to attract a Marketeer of a creative nature – who can not only implement key tasks on a daily/weekly basis – but also present new ideas of ways we can increase our online presence and awareness of our services within Foodservice – and in turn drive more business via the sales team.
We see this as a fantastic opportunity for a candidate passionate about food and hospitality who would enjoy being part of a closeknit team within a thriving but family business.

We are ideally seeking to speak to candidates with marketing experience – in particular Digital marketing activities

• Candidates must have experience in B2B marketing.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate creation and implementation of online and Digital based marketing activities.
• Candidates must have a strong knowledge of social media and online ordering marketing techniques
• Candidates must be hands on and flexible team players due to the diverse nature of the role.
• Candidates must be creative marketeers who enjoy bringing new ideas and initiatives forward within their role.
