Our Marketing Team are based in the headquarters in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire and the busy department supports nationwide business in all matters marketing related with some exciting new initiatives on the horizon.

This role consists of providing administrative and project support for a variety of marketing campaigns and programmes that we have within Selwood. It will work closely with both the marketing team and the wider teams along with external agencies. As part of the support provided, you will be required to draft and produce marketing materials, monitor campaigns and take ownership of certain aspects within the marketing team.

Within this role you will be working within the marketing team on upcoming campaigns, programmes and product launches. This includes:

Main Responsibilities:

• Social media updates, keeping the team up to date with how we have done on social media, along with what posts perform well for both us and our competitors and how we can match them and utilise that information.
• Build relationships with all the stakeholders that marketing deal with, including spending time on work sites with the sales and solutions teams. Building relationships with the teams around Selwood is important to marketing and helps the team to create relevant and necessary materials that resonate with our customers.
• Create case studies with the sales and solutions team. This is vital to the marketing of Selwood, as examples of what we have previously done with customers is an important way that we ensure continued business and continued contracts.
• Within marketing we manage a lot of the internal communications around Selwood, keeping those within the company updated on what is going on, what's changing and what projects the team have worked on. We do this primarily through an internal newsletter called InSite. Part of your duties will be to help put this newsletter together and ensure we have the latest information for it from different areas across Workdry, Selwood and Siltbuster.
• Using Mailchimp to produce customer and internal emails, including those for the charity work we do and Christmas promotions.
• Whilst working within our marketing department we hope to instil in you the difference of B2B marketing when compared to B2C marketing that is consumed daily and what type of marketing works for each market. Along with the importance of branding, brand and company reputation and consistent messaging.

Qualifications & Skills:

• You will be working on multiple different projects at once, so the ability to manage your tasks and work to deadlines is key.
• Computer literate. You will be using Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint regularly, some knowledge of the programme Canva would be desired but not necessary.
• As you will be working with both the marketing team and wider teams within the company, both written and verbal communication skills are important.
• Social media skills and prior knowledge of LinkedIn are desirable as this is our largest social media platform.
• We are a small marketing team and the ability to work within the team and pick up work where required is essential. 
• As this is a marketing role, having a creative eye to see how items should look and to come up with new ideas would be required, along with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability and willingness to travel within and throughout the UK as and when necessary.
• A full UK driving licence is required for this position due to the role requiring the successful applicant traveling to and from multiple locations.
