Job description

Are you right for this role?

This role is for someone who is excited by an opportunity to help shape the marketing strategy & team of a rapidly growing health-tech company.

If you’re an organised, hardworking person who wants to lead an effective marketing team, then this could be the role for you…

The company:

Healthera is a health-tech company based in Cambridge.

We provide products & services to both B2B audiences (pharmacies & healthcare providers) and to B2C audiences (everyday consumers in need of healthcare & medicines).

We’re revolutionising the way people acquire and manage their medicine by making the process simpler, faster, and more reliable.

Our customer base is growing rapidly and we’re already partnered with the NHS, Uber, myGP, Royal Mail, and other companies to help make healthcare easier for people across the UK.

That’s why we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with a large remit and able to connect with multiple audiences through multiple offerings.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee regular marketing output: You’ll be responsible for ensuring the regular flow of our marketing content on weekly basis, including: B2B lead generation emails and content, B2C email retargeting and content, social media posts, customer newsletters
  • Create & write marketing material: The ability to get your hands dirty and create material that support company objectives and other departments, including: emails, sales pages, various landing pages, company updates, testimonial & case study videos and posts
  • Lead a small marketing team: A small team will help assist you with hitting objectives ( marketing executive, designer, external agencies)
  • Manage our CRM’s marketing elements (HubSpot): Building workflows, emails, and lists in HubSpot (including general HubSpot management to support marketing operations) for both B2C and B2B objectives
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of our digital channels & website: With a variety of existing and upcoming offers, you’ll need to work with the team to ensure they are quickly and clearly reflected on our digital channels
  • Lead cross-departmental campaigns: We’re constantly releasing new features and launching new customer initiatives, so you’ll act as a central point of truth for what our customers will receive, liaising with other departments to ensure everything is ready to be announced
  • Manage client projects: Some of our biggest B2B clients require marketing advice and asset creation, which needs to be managed accurately and on-schedule
  • Organise events: This may include arranging our stands at industry conferences or prepping materials for training events
  • Report on marketing channels’ performance on a weekly basis: It’s key that every member of our team is vigilant of important metrics, so understanding how to find and report on this data is a must
  • Ensure a consistent adherence to our brand and aims: As Healthera grows and serves more people, it’s crucial that our messaging and styling stay consistent across the material we publish
  • Strive for excellence: Healthera is undergoing a big transformation and aim to become one of the UK’s household health brands, which needs to be reflected in everything we do
  • Adapt to new opportunities: We’re a rapidly growing company and are always looking for new, exciting ways to advertise ourselves, so one of your most important tasks will be responding quickly and enthusiastically to new opportunities – we highly value people who get stuck in!

Requirements / What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years experience in a marketing role (ideally having already managed a small team)
  • 4-5 days a week in office (one day WFH if needed – outside of this we like to be an office-based company – located in Cambridge)
  • Clear understanding of HubSpot or a similar CRM (with an expectation that HubSpot could be learned quickly)
  • Understanding of marketing metrics and why they matter (i.e. CPA, CR%, CTR, etc)
  • Expertise in conversion-focused marketing (always thinking about results and how to to move the needle on the metrics that matter)
  • Ability to comfortably manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once
  • Communication skills (able to report clearly & concisely on updates to senior management)
  • Team leadership ability (comfortable both delegating effectively and leading from the front to keep a small team inspired)
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel
  • Basic understanding of analytics software like GA4
  • Someone who goes the extra mile – we’re a rapid scale-up brand that values hard work and a sense of purpose. We admire the passion of our current team and this is something we always look to invite into the business with new roles.

Company benefits:

  • An excellent opportunity to contribute to and be a part of building and delivering a scaling business strategy in a unique space
  • Private health insurance and thousands of pounds worth of health & wellbeing-related perks
