Based in St. Albans, Hertfordshire our client is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This job would suit someone who obtains a degree (or equivalent) qualification with a minimum of 2 years' relevant industry experience. They will be responsible for developing and overseeing all marketing promotions for the company's products and services.
The company has experienced exponential growth with a turnover of £400m and plans to significantly grow throughout Europe, the role will provide strategic, commercial advice, including performance reporting to drive effective and sustainable beneficial outcomes in this fast-growing company.
The successful individual will have thorough knowledge of company marketing products, with an enthusiasm for metrics-driven marketing and digital transformation. For this role you will need to be confident with good communication and presentation skills, as well as confident with using MS Office. You must have the ability to undertake project planning, project management and work to budgets.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop plans for the advertising and marketing of company products and services to raise the company's market profile and increase sales.
- Oversee the organisation of promotional activities, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently and within agreed budgets, to raise the profile of the company and increase sales.
- Coordinate all marketing plans and activities with other managers and staff in the company to ensure that the plans are delivered effectively.
- Develop and control the company budget for marketing promotions.
- Respond to internal and external requests for the development and provision of promotional activities.
- Develop and maintain a stock of promotional material for issue to company staff and customers.
- Arrange visits and hospitality for customers and others to promote the image of the company and its products.
- To work to the Company's Quality, Environmental and Safety Management System standards and performance criteria including delivering the objectives set
- Investigate and capitalise on repeat business opportunities on live sites.
- To maintain and nurture strong relationships with external parties providing mutual benefits and promote teamwork and co-operation across all departments internally to maximise team and business goals.
