Marketing Manager

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager working for a successful Manufacturing Company that supply manufactured products to the construction/ building services industry and are based in Diss, Norfolk. This is a full-time, permanent role that is office based. The salary offered if up to £45,000

The Company

The company are a well-established Manufacturing company who provide technical expertise in the Design and Manufacture of Architectural Glass Rooflights at the cutting edge of Rooflight Design, their products can be found in Europe, The USA and Australia. With almost 30 years of trading under their belt, they are ambitious and keen to continue to grow, thrive and deliver beautiful rooflights to improve people’s living environments.

The Role

Representing the 5 brands under the company banner this role will include supervising a small marketing team and also external support via agencies. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing this role includes the following duties and responsibilities:

• Managing the group content marketing strategy across all brands
• Leading the marketing team
• Managing external agencies regarding PCC, Web Development, SEO and Content Management
• Liaising with publishers regarding deadlines and supply of content/ artwork
• Procuring merchandising materials for the sales team
• Statistical analysis and reporting using GA4 Maintaining CPD database and completing CPD certification for the Sales Team/ RIBA
• Ordering printed material (brochures, business cards, architects packs etc.)
• Managing Social Media accounts and activity
• Updating content on all active web directories
• Updating collateral on the company website including drawings, datasheet, O&M Manual images PR & Events management
• Managing the company image library
• Working with external agencies and assisting with proofreading and editing of content prior to publication
• Sourcing case study projects from the sales team and creating to use as content
• Booking photography and video got both projects on site and studio based as required
• Link building and assisting the SEO both web and written content
• Operational support for the Head of Sales & Marketing is out of the office
• Assisting with managing the overall marketing budget including general advertising spend and scheduling
• General departmental and adhoc duties as required

The Candidate

Ideally we are seeking someone who has graduated with the relevant marketing qualifications and a good level of commercial experience who is looking for a role where they can manage operational and marketing strategy. We are seeking a candidate for this position who is creative, innovative and will be comfortable working within a passionate team. This important position within the business requires candidates with the following expertise, skills and attributes:

• Excellent creative writing skills
• Outstanding organisational and project management skills
• The ability to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook, X, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and Vimeo
• Experience of using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is desirable as some design work will be expected
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS systems would be beneficial
• Some experience of third party marketing tools such as Semrush and Moz would also be very useful
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Software
• Comfortable with a level of travel for management meetings, PR events and supporting sales activity as required
