We are looking for an outstanding Marketing Manager with relevant experience in the heritage and cultural sector to lead and manage all marketing and communications activity for the University Museums and Special Collections Service (UMASCS) including digital engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team to build on recent award-winning success in engaging with diverse local, national and international audiences. You will play a critical role in increasing our reach by developing impactful, cost effective, communication strategies and campaigns to promote the work of the Museum of English Rural Life (MERL), its library and archive, Special Collections and the University Art Collection. You will have : Knowledge of visitor attraction and cultural sector marketing Experience of developing creative marketing solutions, ideally within the museums, collections or cultural sector Experience of operating effectively within a team and/or building effective relationships with a diverse range of people Passion for engaging new audiences in the heritage and cultural sector Please see the job description and personal specification for further details.
