Description
Main duties:
- Brand Development - contributing to the development of long-term marketing,
- Stakeholder Relations - manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including professionals, academics, the media, staff and suppliers,
- Project Management - research, plan, develop and implement marketing and brand projects,
- External Communications - develop communication materials for external audiences including printed media, digital communications and news features. This includes copywriting, design and film/photography,
- Internal Communications - develop communication materials for internal audiences including updating the intranet, creating posters, leaflets, signage and ensuring all materials are on brand,
- Fundraising Support - support the fundraising team when required advising on campaigns and messaging and ensuring projects are on brand,
- Event Support - work with the Events Manager to manage and promote events both with external partners and organisation's led events.
- Recruitment Support - Work collaboratively with the Recruitment Working Group and HR to develop and enhance our recruitment employer banding and keep focus and energy in our 'key message' and the use of social media,
- Data Management - oversee the management of all marketing contacts on the CRM database ensuring we comply with the latest data protection regulation,
- Budget and resources - make best use of available resources and manage project level budgets,
- Leadership - lead by example, build team morale and provide encouragement and constructive feedback to other members of the team
- Deputise for Marketing and Communications Lead where required,
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a similar marketing role
- Experience of working in fundraising or a charitable environment
- Good working knowledge of brand development
- Excellent understanding of data protection legislation, particularly in relation to marketing data/information, case studies and the use of images
- Demonstratable project management experience
- Experience of updating website using Content Management Systems
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
