Position Title: Marketing & Sales Coordinator

Duration: Contract

Location: Reading

About the role

  • As a Training Marketing & Inside Sales Coordinator you will play a key role in implementing and coordinating our Pharmaceutical Training marketing plan and supporting our internal sales efforts with a focus on driving awareness, engagement and sales.
  • This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of moving to a permanent role, based in our Reading office. You will report to the marketing manager and work closely with the sales team and other internal stakeholders and our training consultants.
  • You will also have the opportunity to interact with external clients and partners and attend industry events and conferences.

Marketing 70%

  • Contribute and coordinate the marketing plan to promote RSSL's Pharmaceutical Training & Consultancy business
  • Create engaging and targeted content for diverse online and offline channels, including social media, email, website and print materials
  • Coordinate production of marketing collateral ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
  • Manage social media channels, engage and build online community and optimise content for maximum reach and impact
  • Collaborate with internal teams to organise and execute promotional events, webinars, conferences
  • Collecting client feedback and testimonials for use in marketing materials
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct market research to identify competitor activity, trends and industry insights
  • Support marketing manager and other colleagues on other activities as required

Internal Sales Support 30%

  • Assist sales team by providing marketing materials, sales collateral and training course information
  • Respond to client enquiries providing relevant information and prepare quotations
  • Collaborate with sales to identify customer needs and tailor marketing strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of leads, prospects and customers in CRM dynamics
  • Support with presentations

Primary Skills Required:

  • Degree or qualification in marketing e.g. CIM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly creative and innovative with the ability to generate and execute new ideas
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi task.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Social Media Platforms, Digital platforms, Photoshop, CRM
  • Positive and proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge

Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year experience in marketing role or internship, preferably in pharmaceutical or training business sector

Additional Experience Preferred:

  • Demonstrate stakeholder relationship management
  • Working in an events or training environment
  • Flexible to change
  • Project management

Skills and Qualifications:
