We are currently recruiting for Part-time Marketing and Social Media Assistant.

You will be working for a leading Scottish charity with over 50 years of experience within the field and plenty of exciting projects planned for this year.
Description
Main duties include:
- Supporting the team in ensuring the timely delivery of key regular communications e.g. e-zine and newsletter, including copywriting and project management,
- Regularly updating the website,
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities to engage with the local media to increase coverage in print and broadcast outlets by proactively looking for content,
- Supporting colleagues in events, income generation and recruitment in the promotion of their initiatives,
- Supporting the events team at events, assisting with promotion, set up and providing information to attendees,
- Supporting the team with the procurement process in terms of requesting quotes, creating PO's and managing/briefing suppliers,
- Managing stock levels for literature, promotional goods and marketing materials, ensuring adequate stock levels for marketing purposes,
Social Media Key tasks and responsibilities
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of Social Media channels.
- Working across the charity to draft engaging Social Media copy for charity-wide campaigns and activities,
- Scheduling Social Media posts using Social Media tools eg Metricool,
- Responding to messages, posts and comments received across Social Media channels, in-accordance with established charity protocols and responses,
- Maintaining and updating a Social Media calendar with planned Social Media activity and new Social Media requests,
- Preparing analytical KPI reports on Social Media post performance and digital activity (Google Analytics).
- On occasion, there is a requirement to work evenings or weekends to attend events and capture Social Media content
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of developing and implementing marketing projects using multiple communication channels.
- Experience of updating website using Content Management Systems
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
