This is an exciting opportunity within Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk organization (CCOR).
As a Markets Operational Risk Management Associate in the Markets Risk Operational Risk Management Team you will have an immersive opportunity to gain extensive and diverse insights into a complex and dynamic business.
Job responsibilities
- Leverages the Firmwide CCOR Management Framework to Identify, Monitor, Manage, and Govern Operational Risk for the CIB Markets Businesses as part of a team
- Participates in thematic risk event reviews on areas of high Operational Risk to ensure issues are identified and remediated
- Analyzes and reviewes Operational Risk data to assess and measure the Operational Risk environment and make recommendations for improvement
- Executes testing and monitoring activities to assess the design adequacy and effectiveness of controls within the Markets business
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Relevant Industry Qualifications, a University Degree, or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience may include (but not limited to): Operational Risk Management, Control Management or CIB Markets Businesses Operations (i.e. Rates, Commodities, Currencies & Emerging Markets, Fixed Income Financing, Credit, Equities)
- An understanding of one or more CIB Markets businesses including products and operational trade flow processes and lifecycles
- Analytical skills with attention to detail to demonstrate a good understanding of Operational Risks and their drivers and be able to challenge the design and effectiveness of the associated business controls
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with the Business and Operations partners
- Strong team player with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with Tableau or Alteryx
