As Master Data Lead, you will design, develop, and implement Master Data governance processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of Master Data across the organisation. delivering Master Data governance programmes to a global multi-site scale.   The Master Data Lead will improve data quality, data-driven decision-making, maximize workflow efficiency, and ensure compliance.  As Master Data Management lead you will support key parts of the business like research and development through procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.  The IT digital teams will be implementing many innovative technologies covering everything from SAP S4/HANA, Software Defined Networking, Cloud Computing, Azure Analytics and more..

As Master Data Lead you will design, and implement the companies Master Data and golden record structures within transformational IT programs, including an SAP S/4 HANA deployment, an analytics program, and upgrade/replacement of a wide variety of applications across the company. You will drive the data preparation for the deployment of SAP S/4 HANA.

Mainly onsite but some - Hybrid working

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with the organisation's objectives, including data quality, security, and internal and external compliance.
• Lead and Partner the Business, design and implement new or enhanced operational processes to meet key business objectives, facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, map business processes and author business requirements.
• Manage and maintain the Master Data organisation, standards, definitions, and data quality controls.
• Establish and maintain data quality standards and processes to identify and rectify data quality issues proactively. Defining the data stewardship roles and responsibilities and lead data stewards to maintain data quality.
• Builds strong relationships with SAP stream leads and business teams to enablable collaboration with cross functions teams to ensure seamless integrations of Master Data across systems and applications.
• Establish and facilitate and lead data governance council meetings to drive data related decisions and initiatives.
• Classify data, establish data security measures, and ensure data privacy compliance.
• Maintain documentation of data governance processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring they remain up to date.
• Define metrics, measures, and performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of data governance efforts.

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Master Data Management skills SAP S/4 HANA
• Strong understanding of cross functional processes across SAP modules, S/4 HANA,SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, MDG
• Understanding of data migration tools like LSWM /LTMC, Query
• Experience in a consultancy or another company with similar service function leading teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business conditions, work well across all levels of the organisation and under pressure in a project environment.
• Demonstrable experience in enterprise data governance 
• Understanding the aspects of a variant configuration product model including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, ALE, tables, variant pricing, functions, dependency nets with constraints, BOM class nodes.
