Are you passionate about maintaining cleanliness and ensuring impeccable standards in a busy venue? Ibrox Stadium, an award-winning venue hosting a diverse range of events, is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading our cleaning team to uphold exceptional standards throughout the venue. Reporting to the Deputy Cleaning Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations, ensuring that all areas are spotless and ready to welcome guests and event organisers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high cleaning standards and address any issues promptly.
- Provide training and guidance to cleaning staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage cleaning schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands.
- Liaise with event stakeholders to understand their cleaning requirements and priorities.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Enforce health and safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.
- Assist in the recruitment and induction of new cleaning team members.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Cleaning Manager to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in event cleaning or hospitality industry is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as be flexible with working hours and days.
