Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with a major Manufacturer based in Ossett in the search for an experienced Supply Chain/Material Manager.
My client is looking for a confident individual who has the ability to create, and maintain, strong professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role will require excellent communication skills to co-ordinate effectively the purchasing of goods and expediting required materials. The successful incumbent will be expected to review suppliers and assist in the on-boarding of new suppliers going forward.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Communicating effectively with existing and new clients
- Managing of inventory levels and identifying any cost saving opportunities
- Expediting orders in order to maximise efficiencies and reduce lead times
- Source new suppliers and constantly review current suppliers
- Record material data effectively in line with the companies and personal objective
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences:
- Experience working within a food/FMCG environment
- Experience leading a small team
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of working with SAP
