Pin Point Recruitment are looking for a Maternity cover for Customs / Transport Supervisor for a manufacturing company based in Corringham, Essex.

As the Customs / Transport Supervisor you will be responsible in processing Customs entries, you will need to ensure compliance with AEO while supporting the logistics team cross function.

Job Role:

•             System administration of the ICI Customs Management software.

•             Full understanding of CDS systems

•             Preparation of import/export customs compliance packs

•             Creation of all import/export customs declarations

•             Reconciliation of EMCS entries

•             Reconciliation of import and export packs for AEO compliance.

•             Supporting the logistics team on their daily duties and supporting when and where required.

•             Providing regular updates to commercial and wider company team, promoting cross functional collaboration and seamless operation

•             Compiling a monthly reconciliation of Import and Export packs for AEO Compliance.

•             Creating documentation and booking transport with freight forwarders.

•             Be able to fully assist the transport team in all aspects of holiday and sickness cover.

•             Improve efficiency within the department by working to build strong relationships with our third-party hauliers.

Skills Required:

•             Recognised qualification in Import/Export or strong background in customs

•             Strong understanding of customs brokerage

•             Strong knowledge of AEO standard.

•             Knowledge of Supply chain operations or transport would be an advantage but not essential
