Job Description:

As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite students' curiosity and unlock their potential in mathematics. You will deliver engaging and enriching lessons that cater to students' diverse learning needs and abilities. From algebra to geometry, you will bring mathematics to life through interactive activities, problem-solving challenges, and real-world applications. With your dedication and expertise, you will empower students to excel in mathematics and develop essential analytical and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic mathematics lessons that align with the national curriculum and inspire students' interest in the subject.
• Utilize innovative teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts.
• As a Maths Teacher, you must be able to provide personalized support and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve academic success in mathematics.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate mathematics into various subject areas.
• Participate in school-wide events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities to contribute to the school's ongoing success.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the KS3/KS4 level.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for mathematics.
• Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for mathematics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
