Responsibilities- Instruct students on mathematics curriculum tailored to their academic level and needs.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assess students' progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the maths curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behavior.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the primary or secondary level.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A passion for mathematics and a commitment to inspiring students to succeed.
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to evolving educational needs.
