Salary: Up to £36,000 (dependant on experience)

Reed Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Maths Teacher to join one of our Partner SEMH Schools here in Paignton. The school provides a high-quality and enriching learning environment for children and young people aged between 7 - 18 that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). As part of this supportive school team, you will play a key part in providing a bespoke curriculum to suit the classroom's needs and abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Enhancing educational standards through the development and implementation of an engaging curriculum across all Key Stages.
- Ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress towards individual and whole school targets.
- Delivering outstanding teaching and learning across the curriculum areas taught.
- Continually developing standards of attainment, achievement, and progress in the subjects taught.
- Developing, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing engaging and innovative schemes of work for each year group.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Suitable education qualifications such as a teaching degree or degree and PGCE.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience of implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
- Knowledge of inclusive education that challenges students to reach meaningful outcomes for increased independence.
- Knowledge of current curriculum developments.
- Knowledge of child and adult safeguarding procedures.
- Understanding of the principles of good curriculum provision.
