The mathematics department prides itself on having a well-focused and enthusiastic team who are always looking at improving teaching and making learning fun for the students. There are a total of 15 Maths Teachers; nine are full-time and six are part-time. They have a total of 12 specialist classrooms, installed with a projector and a desktop computer and equipped with an array of textbooks and resources. Also having a bank of 32 Chromebooks which are used on a regular basis with many different classes.

Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 per annum

Responsibilities :

• Develop and deliver stimulating Maths lessons that engage students and promote understanding.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum materials and enhance the learning experience.
