Mechanical Contract Manager - Industrial, Commercial & Domestic Projects - Permanent

A Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based in Ipswich are looking for a Mechanical Contract Manager due to continued growth and busy 2024 order book. They operate in various sectors including Industrial, Commercial and Domestic with project values from £20k to £1M+.
As the Mechanical Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project from start up to customer delivery including managing engineers and sub-contractors on site, liaising and building a relationship with the client, keeping to budget, value engineering, managing variations and delivering the projects on time to a high standard.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
· Time Served Apprentice or relevant Mechanical qualifications.
· Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level.
· Effective planning and project management skills.
· Experience of working on large new build projects.
· Solid Mechanical Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation and AC systems.
· Commercial awareness with consistently good financial returns on projects, taking into account all relevant factors.
· Good people management and motivational skills.
· The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
· The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
· Strong results orientation.
Salary and benefits on offer:
· 50/70k - depending on experience.
