Job Title: Temporary Receptionist/Administrator
Duration: 3 months minimum with potential for a permanent role in the future
Location: Ipswich
We are seeking a dynamic and professional individual to join our clients team as a Temporary Receptionist/Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to make a significant impact within a thriving organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Meeting and Greeting:
- Portray a highly professional image while ensuring a welcoming and supportive first impression.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to announce the arrival of visitors.
- Show guests to meeting rooms and issue visitor passes.
- Maintain a tidy and appropriately presented reception environment.
Switchboard Operation:
- Efficiently manage the switchboard operation.
- Take messages for internal and external personnel.
- Liaise with suppliers and field personnel.
Meeting Room Management:
- Book and organise meeting rooms for all departments.
- Manage the meeting room booking process.
- Order catering/hospitality for meeting rooms.
- Set up catering in rooms, hot water jugs, tea & coffee in rooms.
- Arrange room setup including chairs layout, table configurations, and presentations on screen.
- Clear down meeting rooms after use.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a reception/administrative role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Switchboard experience would be desired.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:45 am to 5:15 pm
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Remuneration:
- £12.75 per hour
- £600 bonus after 3 months
