Senior Executive AssistantResponsibilities
This Senior EA position will involve, but will not be limited to:
- Supporting the Bursar with incoming correspondence, emails, telephone calls and identifying immediate business requirements, taking action as appropriate, on behalf of the Bursar
- Working with senior level stakeholders, attending, and taking minutes at executive meetings and being the main point of contact for the governing council
- Coordination of the annual school development plan alongside the Head and Bursar
- Managing school insurances, licences, and dealing with parental concerns and feedback logs
- Overseeing all school policies and compliance records adhering to deadlines and keeping details updated such as Director and Trustees’ personal details

Senior Executive Assistant Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have professional administrative qualifications or relevant experience at a senior PA/ EA level, alongside demonstrable experience of effectively managing a range of digital systems and databases. You will need to be highly IT literate - Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, databases, and Microsoft Word/Excel. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to write clearly and concisely and to proofread accurately. You will have strong interpersonal skills as well as being a team player who can comfortably manage multiple tasks whilst prioritising effectively. You will be liaising with senior level stakeholders from the governing body, board of trustee, SLT and will need to be resilient with a 'get on with it' attitude and be experienced at handling confidential information and dealing with confidential matters with a high level of emotional intelligence. You will be organised, efficient with excellent attention to detail and accuracy and will be able to manage upwards as the Bursar is extremely busy overseeing the prep and secondary school sites and needs a lot of assistance to keep on top of everything. You must have previous Executive Assistance experience.
Location
This role is primarily office-based at the school in Oxford. There is car parking and a bike shed available, however it is easily accessible via public transport. There will be the possibility of occasional home-working depending on workload and Bursar commitments but you must be able to be onsite the majority of the time.
This role is full-time, permanent and all-year-round.
