Due to the award of new projects a Mechanical Design Engineer is required to support bespoke machinery development.

Mechanical Design Engineer - The Role:
⦁ Designing solutions using Festo FluidDraw CAD package.
⦁ Skilled use of 3D modelling packages such as Solidworks or Inventor
⦁ Following project plans and collaborating with the project team to ensure timely delivery of robot, conveyor and automation systems

Mechanical Design Engineer - The Person:
⦁ Hands on experienced machine designer
⦁ Knowledge of machine safety (ISO13849)
⦁ Be familiar with design and construction standards
⦁ Independent thinker with acute attention to detail
⦁ Experienced in design & deployment of conveyor and transport technologies.
⦁ Problem solver, highly motivated, passionate and results-driven
⦁ Previous experience of working effectively in project teams to deliver projects on time and to budget
⦁ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
⦁ Solid organizational and multitasking skills
⦁ A proven history in mechanical, automation engineering or related discipline
⦁ Engineering degree with a mechanical bias or 3 years hands on experience in the field of industrial automation.

Located in Hampshire, this role would be commutable from Basingstoke, Reading, Woking & Bracknell.
