You will be joining a nationally known manufacturer and distributor of high quality Electrical and Mechanical products. Working with a wide range of companies to produce a wide range of products across different industries, such as transport, marine, packaging and more!
Due to continuous growth, they are seeking to add a Mechanical Engineer who is skilled and experienced in the use of SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Use engineering and materials knowledge to improve the product production process.
- To design, build and adapt production and test machinery.
- Use Solid Works 3D CAD software in an engineering product development environment.
- Work with the sales team to provide technical support.
- Discuss and identify problems with suppliers and customers.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing/precision engineering industry)
- Mechanical Engineering degree or completed apprenticeship.
- Experienced with parts, assemblies, and tolerances.
- Skilled and experienced in the use of SolidWorks and 3D CAD Software.
- Good organisation and time management skills
