Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a global manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering Department based in Leeds.
Hybrid role with 3 days on-site and 2 days WFH (after 3 months probation to ensure you get the support upon joining and reviewed yearly.
Salary around £40,000

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can work effectively with people across a wide range of disciplines and levels and is able to effectively communicate technical information with a non-technical audience.
- Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer include:
- Preparation and checking of technical documents and reports
- Provide technical support to key internal and external stakeholders as required Engage in structured problem-solving activities to identify and implement solutions to address root causes
- Develop solutions and provide cost estimates in collaboration with all business functions
- Present analysis of results and project solutions to key stakeholders
- Work with relevant colleagues to develop functional and non-functional test specifications
We are keen to speak with Mechanical Engineers with the following skills & experience:
- Degree in a Mechanical related Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Previous industry-based design experience.
- Proven experience in analysing, designing, testing, debugging, and enhancing products
- Experience in task management, defect management, requirements capture, verification and validation tools.
- Experience of using Solid Works or Solid Edge CAD packages
- Use of the Microsoft toolset - for technical documentation.
