Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a machinery background or experience designing special purpose machinery looking for the opportunity to learn and progress into a senior role where each day is never the same, developing a variety of machinery for an international business?

On offer is an opportunity to join the design team of a manufacturing company where you will be designing bespoke special purpose packaging machinery. You will be given specifications from the sales department, completing the initial design of the parts, attending project review meetings, creating final designs, and producing bills of materials, following the entire design process from start to finish.

This is a growing company that design and manufacture packaging machinery for a specifically the medical industry. Alongside training and progression, this role comes with 4.30pm finishes, 4% employer pension contribution on top of employee 5% and optional overtime which will allow you to significantly boost your earnings.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with machinery knowledge or experience designing special purpose machinery that is looking to progress within a growing company.

THE ROLE
Mechanical Design of Medical Packaging Machinery
CAD drawing in SolidWorks
Efficient work with Bill of Materials and producing relevant documentation.

THE PERSON
Background in Moving Machinery
SolidWorks experience
Commutable to Derby
