Responsibilities within your new role
The role of Mechanical & Electrical Engineer entails various responsibilities including offering assistance to both internal and external clients, fostering positive relationships with clients to surpass their expectations, ensuring the accuracy of record databases, maintaining cleanliness, safety, and security within company buildings through strict adherence to safety protocols, complying with all company processes and procedures and adhering to incident management escalation procedures when necessary.
You will also be tasked with aiding in rack installations and cabling, documenting all faults and issues within company platforms, conducting system and environment monitoring, executing remote/smart hands activities on behalf of customers and carrying out planned preventive maintenance tasks to uphold building integrity.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
Candidates should meet specific qualifications including being up to date with current electrical regulations, possessing a valid 18th edition certification, obtaining a full enhanced disclosure certificate or being able to apply for one through HR, holding at least a minimum National 4 / GCSE level or equivalent in English, and demonstrating maintenance and electrical experience, particularly within the IT sector.
Additionally, candidates should have experience in three or more of the following areas: LV switching, HVAC systems, UPS circuitry, generators, BMS systems, and fire prevention systems.
