This company are a global design and development consultancy, specialising in improving innovative ideas, increasing success through smooth integration of the product in industry. You will be part of a large team of engineers, surrounded by a huge skill set. The company have been globally recognised as a world-leader across a number of different industries and sectors, including medical and transport sectors.
You will be contributing to the whole design process, working closely with specialised designers, electronic and software engineers, to integrate both aesthetic, visual components and functionality to introduce market-leading products.
Therefore the ideal candidate will have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with some experience in industry, with a good knowledge of 3D software (SolidWorks, Creo), and a good understanding of mechanical principals. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-run, well-established business, where you have the opportunity to quickly progress into a senior position.
The Role

• 2D & 3D mechanical designing on Creo and SolidWorks
• Prototyping, testing, integrating products
• Liaising with Designers, Electrical and Software Engineers
• £30,000 £60,000 + Bonus + Progression + 30 Days Holiday + Pension

The Person

• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Experience in SolidWorks/Creo
• Excellent understanding of Mechanical principals
