Description

• Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability and throughput.
• Project managing, designing, developing, testing and supervising the manufacture and installation of mechanical equipment.
• Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient.
• Troubleshooting breakdowns and carrying out scheduled maintenance.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to improve production processes.
• Assessing project requirements and researching suitable solutions.
• Liaising with suppliers and handling documentation for quality assurance purposes.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Profile

A successful Mechanical Engineer should have:

• HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or Completed Apprenticeship
• Problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing sector.
