Description
- Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability and throughput.
- Project managing, designing, developing, testing and supervising the manufacture and installation of mechanical equipment.
- Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient.
- Troubleshooting breakdowns and carrying out scheduled maintenance.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to improve production processes.
- Assessing project requirements and researching suitable solutions.
- Liaising with suppliers and handling documentation for quality assurance purposes.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Engineer should have:
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or Completed Apprenticeship
- Problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing sector.
