Mechanical Engineer

A Major Theme Park in Tamworth that offers a great family experience and thrilling rides are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer that would like to develop their skills and enhance their career prospects!
Annual Salary: £33,075 plus overtime

Job role:

• Working with an established team, you will undertake PPM checks on our rides,
• Carry out reactive maintenance where needed and complete complex strip down and re-build during our closed periods.
• Practical experience of plant maintenance is essential.
• Experience of working with hydraulics, pneumatics and gearboxes is an advantage however training will be provided where required for the right candidate.

Qualification required:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.

Teamwork and flexibility are key to the success of this role. During the season you will be required to work weekend days and Bank Holidays on a rota basis and, at times, will be working alone.
As such, you must be confident in dealing with issues as they arise and have a problem-solving approach to your work.
