Introduction
This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days per week required onsite. The rest of the work can be done from home.
This is an exciting opportunity for SC cleared Mechanical Engineers based in either Bristol or Plymouth to work on a variety of exciting new defence projects with my clients.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience designing electricals, buildings or nuclear components.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, planning and organising tasks and facilitating progress.
- Produce design documentation and support assessments.
- Develop designs in accordance with the design process.
- Provide advice on the implementation and maintenance of design documentation.
Skills & experience
- Understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles for design, operation, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of the design lifecycle.
- Knowledge of regulations and legislation applicable to design processes in the defence sector.
