Mechanical Engineer Planner - Barbican

M&E Senior Planners! We're recruiting.

We're looking for an M&E Senior Planner to join a commendable Tier 1 Contractor on a high value M&E project. The perfect candidate will be motivated by innovation and able to imply modern construction methods to problem solve and deliver best results.

You will be working within a close-knit team responsible for all planning aspects of the M&E installations using Astapower.

The contract will be for 12 months, on a £500 day rate, based in Barbican, with an immediate start.

Duties:

• To ensure a delivery strategy is put in place and presented for each new development as it goes through the pre-construction process.
• To review and update programmes/progress and relevant documents through the project life cycle.
• Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress.

You will be required to have 5 years experience of pre-construction and construction planning in the mechanical & electrical sector.
