What you will do in your working day
A Level 3 engineering fitter apprenticeship equips learners with advanced skills in Mechanical Engineering. They'll master complex fitting techniques, machinery operation, and precision assembly. Additionally, they'll develop problem-solving abilities crucial for troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical systems. This apprenticeship offers a solid foundation for a rewarding career in engineering
Apprentices will undergo a comprehensive factory tour, showcasing their learning across all business domains: Milling, Turning, Gear Cell, Heat Treatment, Grinding, Inspection, Stores, Production Engineering, Design Office, Sales, and Quality
Following the tour, decisions will be made collaboratively, considering performance, business requirements, interests, and career goals

The training you will be getting
This role is based on site, at White Waltham, Maidenhead.
The apprentice will attend Langley College on day release once per week
The qualification you will receive is Engineering Fitter Standard Level 3
There are dedicated mentors and trainers, who are committed to developing the apprentices
Ability to learn hands-on with real components, meaning the apprentice will make a positive operational impact from day 1
