Mechanical Estimator (5428)

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Mechanical Estimator for our client a leading mechanical company who are a provider of comprehensive solutions.
We are seeking a driven Mechanical Estimator to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing project requirements, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate estimates for mechanical projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail to support the company's growth.
Responsibilities
Analyse project plans and blueprints to determine the scope of work and materials required
Calculate labour, material, and equipment costs to prepare accurate project estimates
Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals for potential projects
Clearly communicate cost breakdowns, timelines, and project specifications to internal stakeholders and clients
Engage with clients to understand their requirements and expectations
Participate in meetings and presentations to discuss project estimates and proposals
Experience
Experience as a Mechanical Estimator in a similar industry
Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
Proficient IT skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating.
Offering
Salary DOE
Hours Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Pension
Holidays 20 days plus 10 statutory holidays
