SalaryWe require a number of Mechanical Fitters to work for a company who specialises in providing process technologies to the water & waste water utilities. The work will be varied and although you will be based out of their head office close to Bedford you will be working on a variety of sites across the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Cambridgshire areas.
As a Mechanical Fitter you will need to have previous experience of working on clean water and waste water sites.
This is a long term opportunity which may turn in to a permanent opportunity, for the right person. There are plenty of opportunities to progress within the business and develop your career to more senior positions such as Project Engineer or Project Manager, if that interests you.
This role will involve a mixture of both installation and commissioning work as well as maintenance work on a variety of equipment including; tanks, aeration systems, clarifiers, filters and pumps amongst other things.
Ideally as a Mechanical Fitter within water and waste water treatment you will hold the following cards:
- CSCS Card - Green (as a minimum) Blue (preferred) or Gold
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- EUSR (water Hygiene) - Desirable
- Confined Space
- PASMA (Scaffold Towers)
- First Aid
