Areas of expertise include Motor Overhaul, final Drive Overhaul and refurbishment of Jubilee Line Underground trains.Position Summary:Refitting and assembling Switch Gear within the Rail industry. You will be working in teams to breakdown and assemble mechanical systems.Roles can include:Bench fitting components within the Rail industry. You will be working in teams to assemble Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCBs) for passenger rolling stock Roles can include: VCB components building. Bench Fitting / Fitting and assembling switchgear Assembly and fitting of components and modules Working from engineering drawings to replace and refit components.Person Profile/Experience: A confident engineering background is required. People from machining/ large engine's / rolling stock assembly / REME / automation etc. backgroundsideal. Understanding of engines / hydraulics / pneumatics in plant or heavy good ideal.
