You will be working for a well-established engineering manufacturer that provides bespoke products for various professional industries (including military). They have a strong track record of delivering high-quality products and services to their clients, and they are looking for a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join their team.
Your new role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, testing and repairing mechanical components and systems in the workshop and on site. You will work with a range of materials, such as metals, plastics and composites, and will be using various tools/equipment. You will also be following all the relevant quality standards and safety procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a recognised qualification in mechanical engineering, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and experience in a mechanical fitting and fabrication setting. You must also possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions as well as being able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
