Pertemps are looking for a full-time Mechanical Fitter/Tester to work for their well-known and established engineering client based in the heart of Telford.
As a part of your role you will be the Fitter-Tester who will be to support the Team Leader in facilitating the safe operation of the assembly facility, ensuring that all mandatory Health and Safety compliance is strictly adhered to, you will be accountable for the delivery of the fitting and assembly tasks assigned to and trained for, you will also be delivering the mechanical testing processes.
You will be responsible for the fitting and assembly of the product range, supporting the team leader in the management and execution of the daily production plan, whilst ensuring all the drawings relating to the job are assigned to the current issue.
Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in fitting and assembly.
• Preferable experience in Hydraulic and Pneumatic testing
• Ability to Pipefit
• Fabrication Skills – with ability to read engineering drawings.
• Welding experience (Non-Structural) MIG/TIG
• Experience using hand and pneumatic tools.
• FLT (Preferable)
• Able to work at height.
• 5S Awareness

Hours
8am–4.45pm Monday – Thursday
8am-12pm Friday
Salary
£16.72 per hour
