Job Description
We are looking to hire an experienced electro-mechanical maintenance lead on a permanent basis based at the Slough production facility. The maintenance lead will ensure the test rigs are maintained to maximise up time and optimum performance whilst ensuring all HSE and quality processes and procedures are in line with the business requirements.
The role is Monday to Friday during normal office hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for test rigs and associated plant and equipment.
Perform reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities in a safe, timely and efficient manner to ensure the optimum equipment performance.
Assist with validation of new and existing equipment.
Generate maintenance work orders and performance reports using the eMaint software.
Generate and update HSE and quality risk assessments, processes, procedures and status reports. Participate in audits and HSE reviews when required.
Generate and update training programmes/records for the maintenance team.
Build, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex Electro-Mechanical assemblies using procedures, prints, written instructions, or verbal communication.
Troubleshoot, repair and properly document machine issues.
Troubleshoot / diagnose PLC/HMI control systems software when possible.
Provide first line supervision to on-site contractors activities.
Support other onsite maintenance work when required.
