Mechanical Manager & Water Lead Required - Liverpool, Merseyside, L14

Working Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm

£240per day via umbrella (can pay CIS)

Starting – ASAP

Duration – 3 months / Temp to perm

Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS, possess mechanical qualifications & possess in-date L8 certification.

Duties may include but are not limited to

Ensure consistent delivery of building services by all mechanical & water trained employees within the building services team (Subordinates) and suppliers, to all of the Alder hey estate, at all times (24/7/365).
Achieve the Services Standards comply with policies and procedures, and deliver high quality planned and reactive maintenance (maximised first-time-fix and minimal remedials) to programme as evidenced and recorded in the Computer Aided Facilities Management system (CAFM).
All planned maintenance to be completed by its due date and closed in the CAFM system (all documentation or other records required are uploaded and status of all jobs closed) within 3-working days of month end.

Manage all costs of mechanical & water services delivery to deliver the services within the set budget and improve profitability evidenced by monthly review with, and agreed by, the Finance Business Partner (FBP).

Manage all commercial aspects of the mechanical & water services ensuring statutory and contract compliance evidenced by no Health and Safety Executive (HSE) notices or financial penalties applied for planned and reactive maintenance.

Ensure assets work properly, are maintained in accordance with the contract, relevant Health Technical Memoranda (HTM), Health Building Memoranda (HBM), Operation and Maintenance Manuals (O&M), and Manufacturer’s Instructions; and maintained in a good state of repair, evidenced by accurate and complete equipment repair and maintenance CAFM records.

Ensure a robust system of inspections, incident capture, remediation and reporting is in place evidenced by accurate and complete records against a monthly plan of regular inspections of works completed by managers of supervisors, by supervisors of operatives and subcontractors.

Complete ‘Licence to Lead’ programme evidencing progress through this programme annually.
