I am currently working with a medium sized Sub- Contractor who work on small- medium sized projects up to a value of around £3 million. Our client have just won a large amount of work and are looking to expand their growing team. They are on the look out for a Mechanical Project Manager to head up projects in the residential, educational and the pharmaceutical sector in and around the M40 corridor
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in the Building Services Industry.
- Good management skills.
- Positive and pro-active approach.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Health and Safety awareness, a qualification desirable but not essential.
- Must be able to operate as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing Projects from £250k to £3m.
- Procurement of Sub-Contract packages and Specialist Plant.
- Programme and planning.
- Liaison with in house Drawing and Purchasing departments.
- Monitoring progress and labour levels.
- Production of Method Statements and all H&S issues.
- Attending all meetings and being a single point of contact for all administration.
- Production of Valuations and Liaison with Quantity Surveyors on financial matters.
- Production of Operating and Maintenance Manuals and Client instruction.
- Completion of Defects and agreement of Final Account.
