With a strong commitment to quality and delivering exceptional results they continue to expand operations, we are partnering to source a talented Mechanical Project Manager to join them in managing CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects ranging from £15K to £6M in value.
Position: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: London / Kent
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee mechanical aspects of CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for mechanical installations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Resolve technical issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change orders.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in building services construction, preferably within office fit-out projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes, such as BSRIA, CIBSE, and BREEAM.
