Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a well-established family-owned M&E business with an outstanding reputation for the delivery of multi-million-pound M&E Projects across Southern Wales and South West England. Our client have been operating for over 40 years and have secured key contracts and are now looking to expand their Mechanical division, by adding experienced Mechanical Project Manager. Our client is looking for either an established Mechanical Project Manager or a Mechanical Site Manager/Supervisor looking for their next step up. Key duties include: * Project management of the installation of mechanical services multiple with values ranging from £500,000 - £1M. * Manage multiple tenders and projects throughout various stages. * Procurement of materials and labour, obtaining quotations and negotiations. * Organising and managing direct labour and subcontractors. * Effective cost management and forecasting * Identifying, documenting, and costing project variations * Compiling final accounts and liaising with Quantity Surveyors * Establishing and maintaining client relations * Compiling technical submittals * Undertaking Risk & Method Statements * Carry out site surveys and prepare reports. * Diagnose onsite issues and advise on work required * Attend/Lead Site and Client Meetings as required. * Co-ordination with all trades * Ensuring all work meets with expected standards * Client handovers and demonstrations * Quality control Experience Required: * 5+ industry years’ experience in a similar role (or experience within a Mechanical site management role) * Experience and strong knowledge of the complete Mechanical Discipline (HVAC, Gas, Plumbing and Pipework) * Industry based qualifications ONC/HNC/HND * Preferred work experience in the Commercial sector * SMSTS (Desired) Demand for this role will undoubtedly be high and interviews will be arranged very soon.
