Job Description
We are looking for a talented Building Services Engineer to oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of the building services within our mixed-use properties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the seamless integration of various systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical services. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in building Services Engineering to contribute to the success of the estates team.
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain building systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, collaborating with the maintenance team to address any concerns.
Energy Efficiency: Implement and oversee energy conservation initiatives to optimize resource usage and reduce environmental impact.
Project Management: Lead and coordinate building services-related projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.
Compliance: Ensure that all building services adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, contractors, and external service providers to maintain effective communication and coordination.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will hold a HND level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering and have some prior experience within a building services role.
The role is site based 5 days a week in Leicestershire so you will need to live in or around the Leicestershire region.
What's on Offer
A salary of £34,000 - £44,000 is on offer dependant on experience as well as a very generous pension scheme in line with other public sector pension schemes.
